RESUME
about me
As both a writer and a filmmaker the types of stories that interest me are those that turn genre on its head. My natural inclination is toward genre stories (Noir, Sci-Fi, Western, Horror etc.) and doing something unique with them that hasn't been done before. I approach storytelling entirely from the "never-been-seen-before" perspective and strive to ensure every story I tell will be new, fresh, compelling, and enthralling. And every story I tell has an emphasis on strong female characters, both protagonists and supporting roles. It is important to me to represent female driven narratives, which often involve an emphasis on action and empowerment - within genre bending worlds.
